While any good cattery should be fully secure, make sure your cat is microchipped to increase the chances of him being found in case he does manage to escape. Ensure the cattery only looks after cats and doesn’t have kennels for dogs. Dogs are much noisier than cats and many cats will be distressed by the sound of dogs barking.
