COUNTRY LIFE
Stream along
to Brook Fete
Brook Village and Church Fete
will take place on July 14 from
2.0pm to 4.30pm. This is a
traditional fete with a wide range
of stalls and attractions all run
by the villagers and volunteers.
There are no commercial
stalls, just all the old favourites;
‘Grannies Attic and Grandpa’s
Shed’, tombola, homemade
cakes, old books, an arcade of
children’s games including a
bouncy castle and much more.
Live entertainment will be
provided by ‘Easy Listening’.
There will be a Rubber Duck
Derby in the village stream, with
heats throughout the afternoon
culminating in a Grand Final.
Delicious homemade cakes and
teas will be served in the Seely
Hall. Entry is £2 with children
under 14 free. There is also
plenty of free parking.
