COUNTRY LIFE Stream along to Brook Fete Brook Village and Church Fete will take place on July 14 from 2.0pm to 4.30pm. This is a traditional fete with a wide range of stalls and attractions all run by the villagers and volunteers. There are no commercial stalls, just all the old favourites; ‘Grannies Attic and Grandpa’s Shed’, tombola, homemade cakes, old books, an arcade of children’s games including a bouncy castle and much more. Live entertainment will be provided by ‘Easy Listening’. There will be a Rubber Duck Derby in the village stream, with heats throughout the afternoon culminating in a Grand Final. Delicious homemade cakes and teas will be served in the Seely Hall. Entry is £2 with children under 14 free. There is also plenty of free parking.
