Email: belinda [email protected] g.uk Local Schools Celebrate the Coast and Country of the West Wight With the help of WWLP, All Saints, St Saviours and Shalfleet Schools have recently visited a number of sites in the diverse West Wight. Reception and Years one and two of All Saints explored the aquarium at Fort Victoria and carried out some rock pooling and beach art, whilst Year two visited the Newtown Nature reserve to do some bird watching. Years three and four visited the bluebell woods at Mottistone and learned how to identify an English bluebell and understand the reasons for their decline. Reception class also discovered mini beasts in varying habitats at their school grounds while St Saviours and Shalfleet schools went fossil hunting at Fort Victoria.
