Catamaran ‘Free Spirit’
Oceanblue Sea Charters
based at Ventnor Haven have
launched their new 8.5m
Cheetah Catamaran. With a
powerful 270 horse power,
the new ‘Free Spirit’ will
offer even more exhilarating
rides to both locals and
tourists who want to discover
the spectacular Undercliff
Coastline.

coastline. Our new Cheetah
‘Free Spirit’ which is coded
to carry 12 passengers is the
perfect boat for exploring
the secluded bays and
discovering the island’s wild
south coast from the sea.’
During the Sea Safari
passengers can get hands
on and help haul lobster
pots and discover the marine
treasures of the deep. The
trip is completed with a wild,
fast ride back to Ventnor
Haven. Oceanblue also offer

for groups who are looking

Griffin Marine holds a
Jet Ski Open Day
Whether you are a Jet Ski
expert or an enthusiastic
novice, Cowes Parade is the
place to be on June 26.
A Jet Ski Open Day is being
staged by Griffin Marine
Services in association with
Wight ATV with all aspects
of jet-skiing being covered,
including the opportunity
to go out on the water and
enjoy the thrill of it all.
Tim Griffin of Griffin Marine
Services explained: “The
Island is perfect for jet-skiing
with so many beaches, and
hopefully we will start a club
to try to introduce even safer
skiing. Jet Skis have become
bigger and safer over the
past few years, but also a lot
faster.
“At the Open Day we
will cover all aspects from
pre-start routines and
launching to servicing, rules
of the road, local by-laws,
and how to get back on to a
jet ski safely if you happen to
fall off.”
Tim said: “Anyone can
come along and have a go.
If anyone has their own wet
suit bring it along, or be
prepared to get wet, because
we only have a few for use.”

Get out on the water this summer with Wight Charter
