The Food Theatre
Local and National businesses joined forces to create the
Island’s best attended Food Theatre to date. The Southern
Co-operatives Local Flavours Marquee drew in unexpected
crowds of hundreds of people. Chefs entertained and
educated spectators about food seasonality, local fare
and valuable cooking techniques. David Etchell Johnson,
Head Chef at The Seaview staged a ‘culinary master class’
demonstrating a superb black bream speciality. Charlie
Bartlett from The Garlic Farm also impressed the audience
