The County Show
“A nice, country
show” is how Sharon
Peach, Chairman of
the Royal Isle of Wight
Agricultural Society
Show describes this
year’s event.
Horses and ponies of all sizes
and classes will be taking part,
the Shetland display likely to
be a favourite with children.
As well as show jumping and
scurry racing, the driving
events, for the disabled as well
as able-bodied, will get pulses
racing. Cattle, sheep and pigs
will be looking their best for
the livestock display as will the
preened poultry.
Entrance is free, with a bucket
collection. Like last year,
the show will raise money to
support training for agricultural
students.
