Patio plants

plants for this years pots. When it comes
to gardening one of my favourite and
most rewarding tasks is planting and
caring for my patio garden.
E
ven the smallest garden
can be bright and
cheerful with pots,
hanging baskets and can
become a restful and inspiring
outdoor living area. Now with
the range of old dependable

favourites and exciting new
varieties our patios can change
with the spring, summer and
autumn seasons.
There is a large selection of
trailing Petunias of various
colours. These Petunias
TRAILING PETUNIAS
MARGUERITES
look great planted in two
complimentary colours or
combined with other vigorous
plants, such as pink Nemesias
or silver trailing Helichrysum.
They have an exceptional long
flowering period and enjoy a
sunny spot.
Diascias have become very
popular for baskets, tubs and
come in various shades of pale
and dark pinks, corals and
pastel orange flowers. They
flower from early summer;
May and June till early
October. Cut back old flowers,
which keeps plants tidy and
encourages new flower growth.
Always popular; Geranium,
in so many shades of colours,
deep rose, salmon, scarlet,
lavender, violet, orange and
white. Flowering through the
whole summer,they thrive in a
sunny position, quite simply
the Queen of containers.
