Award winning
barn conversion
Champagne was drunk and
local island canapés enjoyed
by over 150 people at the
launch of the five new barn
conversions at Niton Manor
Farm, Niton on Thursday.
Niton Barns were also hugely
proud to announce their
GOLD Green Island Award
(www.greenislandtourism.org),
confirming their commitment
to both their local environment
and their future one. Louise
Hart (Billings Group), said
"we are overjoyed that the
barns we have developed
with a contemporary feel,
also fulfil such prestigious
Award Winning Criteria.
We are proud to say we have
successfully restored historical
buildings with up to date green
innovations such as air source
heat pumps. It's also great that
we can actively promote local
food to our customers and
receive 'green points' for doing
so...ideal for us as farmers!
The feedback on Thursday
was superb and bookings are
flooding in already, despite
the development only being
completed this week!" One
of the Green Initiatives
undertaken by the company
include a 5% discount for any
customers whom don't bring a
car on their holiday.
Niton Manor Farm is farmed
by RJ & DE Billings, who are
also property developers and
head up a number of high
quality local developments
here on the Island.
