FOREWORD Brickfields plans the first ever summer fayre to celebrate their 25th anniversary A weekend of fun and exciting attractions, games, rides and stalls is planned on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2007 coinciding with the annual horses in harness carriage driving competition on Sunday. The summer fayre will focus on raising money split between The Earl Mountbatten Hospice and RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute). The event will be a paid entry with free entry for children accompanied by an adult. Opening hours 10am to 5pm on both days. The Saturday night will culminate in a big old barn dance in the indoor arena with live music, bar and food. Tickets will be on sale from the 1st June. Imagine drifting through an English garden, sipping champagne and listening to some of the most beautiful operatic music - this divine dream comes true at The Priory Bay Hotel this summer. On June 19 and 20 - the hotel will be hosting ‘Opera Nights under the Stars’ in their beautiful grounds - nights of pure indulgence. Two Operas will be performed - June 19 - La Boheme by Puccini and June 20 - The Barber of Seville by Rossini. The Operas will be performed by OPERA BOX - the touring arm of The Swansea City Opera Company. The performers will stand on a natural stage in front of the hotel’s stunning 14th century pigeonniers, whilst the audience will sit in a sunken garden surrounded by 11th century stone barns. The evening will commence with champagne and canapés at 4.30 pm and a three course dinner v
