Kate takes a lot of flack from Andy - we don’t know how she puts up with him, but they’ll be sure to raise a smile! Andy is now YOUNG FREE AND SINGLE, living in Hampshire and has 5 children, Oliver (2) Charlie (4) Martin (17) Samantha (18) and Katy (20) ...he’s been a very busy boy!!! In his spare time, he mostly likes to sleep and eat. Kate Weston Q: What does Andy do that really niggles you? A: Nothing - he’s quite simply the most accomplished presenter I know. A: I was playing the Prince in Cinderella and someone flung a welly on stage instead of the crystal slipper. I sung a whole love song clutching a boot. Kate Weston Q: What person would Kate Weston is the voice of Wave 105 Travel on weekday afternoons. Originally from Somerset, Kate began her career as a singer and performer, which led to engagements in London’s West End, and The Casino De Monte Carlo in Monaco. Following a brief apprenticeship on Cable TV, Kate was chosen to present GMTV’s Saturday morning children’s series ‘Rise & Shine’. She then went on to present ‘Games Republic’ alongside Trevor and Simon, and the European Drag Racing Championships for Sky Sports and Channel 5; a job that took her to all parts of Europe engaging in one of the world’s fastest and most exciting sports. Other television credits include ‘Surprise Surprise’, ‘Antiques Fair’ and ‘The Games Room’. When Kate isn’t working on Wave 105 Travel, or pulling on her boots to play Principal Boy in Panto, you’re likely to find her on the terraces cheering on her favourite football team ‘The Saints’.
