Shine your boots for Walking Festival
Garmin, the global leader
in satellite navigation, is to
sponsor the 16th annual
Isle of Wight Walking
Festival, which takes place
from May 3 to 18.
Billed as the UK’s largest
walking festival, it features
over 250 different walks
and attracts more than
20,000 participants. Events
taking place include geocache walks, the popular

locations during the event.
Charisma visit
Oriental
Robin Hill
A stunning spectacle of Oriental
themed light, sound and colour will
mark the coming of the Chinese
New Year at Robin Hill Adventure
Park during February’s school half
term holiday.
Between Friday February 14
and Sunday February 23 visitors
can experience the park’s magical
illuminated woodland with a Far
Eastern twist to capture the spirit
of one of the world’s most popular
celebrations. This is the first of a
series of openings in 2014 for the
park's popular 'electric woods' events
which last year received rave reviews
from visitors of all ages. The park’s
ancient woodland will be open every
evening from 5pm until 9pm.
Charisma of Fawley will be visiting the Island for
their fourth annual Mother of the Bride showcase
event on Sunday March 8.
Charisma will be at the George Hotel, Yarmouth
from 10am to 4pm and they will be bringing a huge
range of new spring and summer wedding outfits,
suitable for the mother of the bride and groom,
and wedding guests from leading labels such as
Condici, John Charles, Gina Bacconi, Ispirato, Zeila,
Ann Balon and many more, together with matching
millinery and accessories in sizes from eight to 28.
