GARDENING Perfect Perennials for all year round colour Perennials or ‘Cottage Garden Plants’ are becoming more popular. They are easy to grow, and flower year after year. There are low growing varieties for the front of your borders as well as medium heights and taller plants. The range is extensive with different flower shapes and colours. Plant now to enjoy colourful displays throughout the season. Coreopsis: Golden daisy like flowers with low to mid height. Delphinium: Spires of blue providing height to the back of the border Aster: Shades of mauve daisies with low to mid height. Aquilegia: Cottage Garden favourite with delicate bonnet shaped flowers Astilbe: Plumes of pink and white shades for medium infill. Geum Koi: Striking orange vibrant blooms Plant perennials in groups of three plants to produce a more immediate and bolder impact.
