INTERVIEW Plenty of fizz and fun at annual lunch The 36th annual Christmas Charity Lunch, organised by Terence Willey, took place at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, Cowes. The day started with a bucks fizz reception followed by a very extravagant lunch and entertainment lasting over seven hours, with 98 people attending. Dr. Keiron Cooney entertained with his bagpipes, playing both festive and popular music, and Sarah Saville, professional singer from Southampton, attended the function for the first time providing a most excellent range of songs. Rebekah Purvus surprised everyone as a professional belly dancer and the evening ended with carols provided by Vectis Brass. Organiser Terence Willey said: “It was touching to witness so much support and generosity this year with the event raising some £5,000, which will be applied to the new facility at Naomi House, Winchester known as Jack’s Place providing new facilities for teenagers suffering with serious illnesses.” Pictures available to buy online from our website: visitilife.com 30 www.visitilife.com
