hunt meet sets
off for a good
day's hunting

Members and supporters of the IW Hunt and IW Foot Beagles
met for their annual joint meet at Gotten Leaze on New Years
Day. The meet has been hosted by David Biles at Gotten
Leaze since the millenium and grows in popularity every
year.

Bacon buns were provided by Jo Ewell and her Kanga

Catering team, with Eve Ablitt again serving the traditional
hot stirrup punch.
Following speeches by David Biles, Chairman Colin Boswell
and Joint Master, Malcolm Purcell MFH, the Foxhounds
moved off towards Brighstone Forest, many of the mounted
field giving the watching supporters a display of their fence
jumping skills whilst the less brave riders headed for a nearby
gateway.

Trails were laid by both mounted and foot layers

and provided entertainment for the many mounted followers
and foot followers alike.
