EDUCATION Year of growth for Ryde School T his has been another year of growth and innovation for Ryde School. Sixth Formers are benefiting from the choice of three courses of study. The launch of the International Baccalaureate Careers Programme (IBCP) and the introduction of our new A Levels + Enrichment course alongside our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), ensures each individual finds the course best suited to his or her ambitions and also the challenge of what the 21st century workplace requires of its young people; an excellent academic foundation and a creative mindset. With a newly refurbished Sixth Form centre, two newly designed science laboratories and a new Sixth Form Boarding House in Ryde the Senior School is an exciting place to be. In the Junior School and Fiveways we have introduced a new Outdoor Learning Centre and Forest School programme, sailing is now on the curriculum and the academic curriculum is constantly being reviewed and updated with the introduction of Spanish, Latin and Mandarin proving popular with both pupils and parents. Please come along to the next Open Day on Saturday 6 February 2016. For further details, contact Mrs Becky Craik on 01983 617970 www.visitilife.com 123
