t's fair to say that many prominent gardeners
trace their love of horticulture back to their
childhood gardening experiences. If your little
ones are showing an interest, help to cultivate it
by providing them with their own 'proper' child
sized tools and perhaps their own wheelbarrow.
Include some easy to grow seeds such as
Calendula that don't seem to attract the slugs.
Who knows they could be the next generations

It's time to sow

any seeds benefit from sowing now; two
in particular are onions and sweet-peas,
but make sure you protect sweet-peas
from hungry mice. Sown in early December to
enjoy your first blooms by mid-May.
