Staddlestones celebrate
opening of showroom
S
taddlestones, the Island’s
family-run dealership for
Nissan, Peugeot and SsangYong
have recently opened the doors to
their new, state-of-the-art building
on Brading Road, Ryde. The new
facility will house the Peugeot and
SsangYong showrooms, and also
provides increased workshop bays and
office space.
Staddlestones are one of the
first dealerships in the country to
have Peugeot’s new retail concept,
which not only provides a relaxing
and comfortable environment
for customers, while showing the
fabulous Peugeot range to its
full potential, but also allows the
sales team to connect wirelessly
to Peugeot’s systems using tablet
computers. This allows them to check
on delivery dates, arrange finance,
and demonstrate colour schemes and
accessories, etc.

Korean brand SsangYong are a new
addition to Staddlestones’ offering,
and their range of no-nonsense
crossovers, people-carriers and pickups are already turning heads, in
part due to their five-year, unlimited
mileage warranty.
Managing Director of Staddlestones,
Chris Perkis said: “This represents a
big investment for our family business,
but it is a commitment we were willing
to make because it shows we have
faith in the products we sell, our staff,
and the Island’s economy.”
The new building was constructed
using Island-based suppliers wherever
possible, and now it is completed, has
already created two new jobs. Chris
added: “We see this as the re-launch of
Peugeot on the Island. As we have all
been squashed into one building for
over a year, we would like to thank our
customers and staff for their patience,
and hope they enjoy our new facilities.”
