SOCIAL SCENE
A decadent night out
DECADeANCE, the annual charity
dance party at Cowes Yacht Haven
more than lived up to it's decadent
reputation for a fantastic night,
as DJ and organiser Tony Martin
increased the capacity to 700 - and
sold out again! The dance floor was
packed throughout with party goers
dancing through the decades and
embracing the theme with some
amazingly decadent outfits.
There were lavish show girl
costumes from Utopia Health
Spa who sponsored prizes for the
casino. Other casino prizes were
sponsored by the Priory Bay Hotel
and Vanity. Rob de Bank donated
a pair of Bestival tickets for a
decadent draw. Wightphotobooths
and DK Photography provided
the opportunity for great photo
memories.
Over £6,000 was raised, more than
double last year’s total, bringing
the amount donated to the Earl
Mountbatten Hospice over the last
six years to more than £20,000.
Next year’s tickets go on sale
early July so make sure you put
that date in your diary so as not to
miss out on the decadence that is
DECADeANCE!
