Brownrigg’s new Farm Shop at the
former Godshill Organics site has an
extensive range of produce including
locally sourced fruit and vegetables,
Village Bakery bread, Scarrots Lane
Bakery pastries and pies, milk from
Briddlesford farm and milk and
butter and cream from Rew Valley.
Other Island produce includes
Sharon Orchard apple juice, Tomato

Stall, Wild Island, Yates Brewery,
Garlic Farm.
All Brownrigg meats are reared on
Island farms, including turkeys and
geese for Christmas. A butcher is on
site to cut joints and give advice on
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Open Monday to Saturday 9am –
6pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm.

The Pudding Dispatch Club
The Seaview Hotel
Friday January 24: 7.30pm
If you have a sweet tooth then the Seaview
Hotel’s Pudding Dispatch Club is just
for you. A light savoury course will be
followed by four desserts created by four
different chefs at the hotel. At the end
of the evening you will be able to vote
for your favourite and the winning chef
will be crowned the Pudding Prince or
Princess.
‘The club will undoubtedly feature some
traditional favourites but be prepared
for some interesting twists and turns as I
have asked my chefs to think outside the
chocolate box!’ says head chef Alan Staley.
The price for the special dinner is £26.00
without wine or £40 with matched wines.
