NHS hard work rewarded
The hard work and dedication of staff
working within the Island's NHS has
been formally recognised.
The Isle of Wight NHS Trust Awards
2013 took place at Medina Theatre in
Newport.
The Chairman’s Diamond Award
went to the respite services for
children with life-limiting diseases
team. They provide respite to children
and their families, giving carers and
children a welcome break from their
day to day routine.
The awards were voted for by an
audience of colleagues and guests.
"The night gave us an opportunity
to celebrate what we do and shine
a light into the corners of the
organisation which don’t usually go
under the spotlight" said Executive
Medical Director, Dr Mark Pugh.
