for Karen

Friends and family gathered at the
Dairyman’s Daughter pub, Arreton Barns
to give Karen Eeles a fitting send-off after
the Earl Mountbatten Hospice fundraising
manager left her position following a staff
shake-up.
Karen, dubbed the ‘fundraising champion’,
was responsible for organising the last
11 Walk the Wight events, and she raised
millions of pounds during her time at the
Hospice.
