YOUR GUIDE TO FASHION HEALTH & BEAUTY Beauty blog Base coat Shellac polish Top coat Island Life’s Laura Boynton reports on her visit to Utopia Spa at Melville Hall Hotel, Sandown. The party season is about to get into full swing, so what better time to make sure your nails are looking up to scratch! So for my latest trip to Utopia Spa I went for the Shellac nail polish treatment. New to Utopia Spa, it is a polish which gives you up to 14 days wear without chipping and really gives a mirror finish. Shellac have a range of colours to choose from, and I went for bright red, thinking it’s a great colour for this festive season. I was very impressed with the finished look classy, glossy and expensive looking. And the nails stay that way for weeks, amazing! The price for Shellac polish is an extra £10, but definitely worth it! After this I enjoyed the Luxury Pedicure, priced at £50. This included a foot soak, cuticle treatment, nail tidy and exfoliation. After this came a lovely foot massage, much needed if you are always on your feet! The treatment finished with a cooling mask and nail polish. Deep purple and dark colours are very popular, and I have to say my nails look fabulous!
