SUPER JUKE
It may be some time before we actually
see one on Island roads, but Nissan are
apparently in the process of building
a 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 Juke which
develops a mind-boggling 520 bhp!
The Super Juke will also feature
Nissan's intelligent all-wheel-drive
system, which will enable it to rocket
from 0-60 mph in around four
seconds.

With a projected top speed of
170mph, to stop it becoming airborne
the aerodynamic Super Juke will have
stiffer and lower suspension, bigger
brakes, a rear wing, side skirts and a
rear diffuser.
Nissan insiders say the beast is
currently just a study; rumour has it
that only two are to be made initially
– a right-hand and a left-hand version,
but who knows what the future might
hold!
I can't be alone in
thinking they should
get on and build
it. But for those
impatient ones
amongst us there
is already a very
good alternative
to the Super Juke.
The Special Edition

Juke Kuro is an exciting new variant,
available for a limited period only,
with just 700 being produced at the
world-beating Sunderland Plant.
Available across all Juke manual
transmission engine options, customers
can choose from the 190hp engines or
if fuel eco nomy is a key consideration
the 1.5dci is also available.
Priced from £17,395 to £18,995
including exclusive 17 inch Kuro
alloys and Force Red or Pearl Black
metallic paint, these very special Jukes
are sure to go fast – especially out of
showrooms!
Maybe nowhere near as fast as that
Super Juke, but it seems to be another
leap in the right direction for Nissan,
