Clarissa signing...
Celebrity cook Clarissa Dickson Wright, a staunch
supporter of countryside sports, held a book signing of
her latest publication ‘The History of English Food’ at
Westover to raise funds for the IW Hunt.
Clarissa entertained the 120 who attended the
function, by kind permission of John and Caroline
Weeks, with anecdotes about her interesting and
varied life, including her passion and support for
hunting.
Guests gathered in the 18th century stable yard
for drinks, and canapés made and served by Sandra

Guests at the Priory Bay Hotel recently had the
opportunity to dine with two of the stars from the
long-running radio series The Archers.
Charles and Judy Collingwood, who play Brian
and Shula in the iconic Radio 4 production,
treated fans to an insight into life on the show
with some amusing and interesting anecdotes.
Priory Bay owner Andrew Palmer said: “The
Archers have a lot of fans on the Island and
Charles and Judy told some great stories.”
