This time we bring you the remarkable story of
Stephanie Slater, a former estate agent who 20 years
ago was kidnapped and kept prisoner in a makeshift
coffin for eight days by murderer Michael Sams. Soon
after her horrific ordeal Stephanie moved to the Island
to re-build her life, and has drawn on her horrendous
experiences to help police nationwide provide proper
counselling for similar victims of rape and abuse. It
really is a must read story.
We also talk to cattle breeder, land owner and
racehorse owner Michael Poland, who divides his time
between his farm at Wroxall, a home in Hampshire
and an estate in Scotland. We also meet Chris Guy, a
Newport chiropodist, who hopes he might be seeing
his horse run in next year’s Grand National. We
also bring you a touch of magic courtesy of Island
illusionist Aaron Isted.
