Yates packs a Punch
Yates Brewery located in
Newchurch, Isle of Wight
have recently been chosen
by pub giant Punch
Taverns to supply there
700 outlets across Britain.
Father and son brewers
David Snr and David Jnr
have worked closely with
Punch since they formed
back in 1998 supplying
Isle of Wight outlets
with cask ale and helping
them with emergency
deliveries. "We were asked
by Punch if we would
like to go on to their
finest cask programme
which gives there tied
houses a chance to buy

a selection of real ales
from different breweries
across Britain. "This is
the first time a brewery
from the Isle of Wight has
been selected. They have
chosen our Golden Bitter
4.0 % abv to run in their
scheme from November
to February. Due to the
demand we have had
to invest in two new
fermenting vessels and
over 1000 casks."
This is a fantastic way to
get Isle of Wight brewed
ale firmly on the map and
recognised across Britain.
