and style
Bellissima, in Cross Street, Ryde, has
quickly built a reputation as a shop
that offers style and elegance in ladies’
footwear.
Bellissima was opened earlier this
year by joint owners Tina Lettington
and Alberto Balsi, and Tina recently
visited the ‘Micam’ Shoe Fair in Milan,
Italy, the largest footwear show in
Europe to select her latest collection.
She said: “I go to Italy twice a year,
and have just chosen next year’s
Spring/Summer 2012 collection. After
living in Italy for 20 years, I wanted to
open a shoe shop with style, elegance
and glamour, just as the shoe shops are
in Italy and Spain.”

Bellissima offers many brands that
are not available anywhere else in the
country, and Tina ensures only small
amount of each line so everyone does
not have the same shoe or boot. The
ranges include everything from winter
boots to party shoes and wedding
shoes, all from Italy and Spain.
Bellissima also stock a range of bags

which will be expanding in the future,
as well as gipsy tights and stockings,
scarves and costume jewellery.
The Bellissima Christmas party will
be held at the shop on Thursday,
December 15 from 10am to 8pm, with
everyone welcome for a glass of mulled
wine and Italian Christmas Pandora/
pantone cake.
