Island Life is celebrating its fifth
birthday by announcing that YOUR
favourite magazine will now be
published EVERY MONTH.
We are sure you will agree that over
the past five years Island Life has come
a very long way, growing in strength,
stature and popularity thanks to our
ability to keep abreast of all that is
happening on the Isle of Wight.
We have always tried to ensure we
offer our loyal readers interesting
features on some of the Island’s leading
personalities, as well as giving you the
regular favourites such as food and
drink, health and beauty, equestrian,
countryside, motoring and much, much
more, including an insight on where to
find all the leading products, thanks to
our wonderful advertisers.
However, because Island Life has been
published every other month it has

sometimes been difficult to keep you
fully informed of all of the up-to-date
occasions and events that spread across
the Island 12 months of the year.
But now, by popular demand, that is
all about to change. We shall still be
publishing our normal bumper Island
Life every other month, packed with
all the usual editorial and advertising
features. But in between our bumper
edition we shall be offering readers
our slimline ‘little brother’ Island Life
EXTRA!.
It will still be of the same high quality
that you expect from Island Life, but
initially with fewer pages. The new
concept will enable us to keep you
more up to date with all the social
events and happenings from all corners
of the Isle of Wight.
The first ‘new-look’ Island Life
EXTRA! will be available from
mid-January at selected outlets: Marks
& Spencers, Tescos, Mc Colls-Ryde,
Morgans-Shanklin, P&J News-Sandown,
Seasons-Ventnor, Holdings-Yarmouth,
Chale Green Stores, Welcome
Store-Bembridge, Seaview Post Office –
what great news for all our readers who
thought you had to wait until February
for the next super edition. So by the
time you have feasted yourself over
Christmas, celebrated the New Year and
taken down the decorations you can sit
back and eagerly await the new arrival
of our exciting publication EXTRA!.
And don’t forget there will be lots
more popular features & interviews in
the ‘little brother’ publication EXTRA!
before it’s back to the much loved
bumper edition in mid-February.
