New-look kitchens
Morey’s Builders’ Merchants Kitchen
Centre has introduced a new range
of kitchens ahead of their 10th
anniversary which they will be
celebrating in March.
The Kitchen Centre, in Trafalgar Road,
Newport, has undergone a major refit
in time for Christmas and the New
Year, and their Sheraton range, from
popular suppliers Omega are available
for customers to view.
Steve Viney, the Morey’s Kitchen
Centre showroom supervisor, said: “We
tend to trade at the middle to upper
end of the market. It is not so much
by design but because of people’s
perception about what we do, and
customer demand.
“We have changed suppliers a couple
of times over the past 10 years, and
last January we brought in a range
from Omega Kitchens known as the
Charles Rennie Mackintosh, which have
proved highly successful.

“Naturally
we wanted to
build further
on that
success, so
we now have
introduced
seven new
kitchens from
the Sheraton
Range,
produced by
the same manufacturer. So that now
gives us three core ranges – Regency
which is long established and perhaps
could be termed is our entry level as
far as kitchens are concerned. Then
we have Sheraton that will sit in the
middle ground with the Charles Rennie
Mackintosh at the upper end.”
Sheraton and Mackintosh are offered
exclusively to Morey’s on the Island,
with Sheraton offering a broader range
that still includes a fair amount of
traditional, but also has contemporary
products such as high gloss finishes
and curved doors, to cater for all
aspects of the market.
Steve added: “We also do a lot of
internet price matching on kitchen
appliances and sell appliances
individually. There are a wide range
of work surfaces on show in the
showroom, and Morey’s can also
provide a full design and installation
service.” Tel: 01983 525111
