This was a notable achievement as Tarran had also won the first endurance ride earlier in the year. Runner-up was Dynamite Daisy, owned and ridden by Mandy Steen. This was a fitting result as Mandy is the owner and manager of Froghill Tack who, generously sponsored the Horse of the Year Championship. After taking the results of all the competitions (Showing, Dressage, Jumping and Endurance); the year’s overall winner was the lovely New Forest Pony, Shamlord Sunrise, ridden by junior member Natasha Coventry.
