Despite gloomy predictions
for the New Year, one Island
restaurant is fighting back with
some recession-busting offers
for the coming winter months.
The St Helens Restaurant, on
the Lower Green Road in St
Helens, has slashed the price
of mid-week dining from an
average of £26.50 for three
courses to only £18.99 per
person. A two-course option for
those with smaller appetites is
also available at only £15.50.
Couple this with a bottle of
special wine for only £9.50
makes for an affordable evening
out.
The St Helens has always
strived to offer good value and
portions and source as much
local produce as possible, but
Mark is realistic about how the
current climate is affecting the
restaurant trade.
