International Show Jumper
Geoff Billington is coming
to Brickfields on 11th &
12th February 2009. His
stay will include two days of
Show Jumping Training for
all abilities and a Lecture/
Demonstration on the
Wednesday evening. Geoff
will use a number of his own
horses to show the different
levels of show jumping.
British born Geoff, started
riding at his local riding school
at the age of 9 years and
showed great potential at this
early age, not only with his
riding, but being able to show
that he could make a profit on
the selling side when he bought
his 1st pony for £10.00 and
sold it for a healthy profit!
His great sense of humour
has delighted fans and
audiences over the years in his
lecture/demonstrations and
his commentary at a number
of some of the major shows –

usually at the expense of other
riders.
With his former great partner
It’s Otto, Geoff has been
and still is a key member of
the British Show Jumping
Team on numerous occasions,
including the 1996 and 2000
Olympic Games. He also
boasts both, European and
World Championship bronze
medals plus numerous Grand
Prix wins, including the British
Grand Prix, Zurich and Berlin.
His most recent success was
with Cassabachus whom he
won the British Show Jumping
Derby at Hickstead in 2007
and was 2nd in 2008.
Geoff has an exciting new
string of horses that we hope
to see some of on the night.
