The Editor I can’t help feeling a little bit proud as we look back over three amazing years of Island Life. I’m proud of our magazine, of course, but also of the Islanders we’ve featured and all that they’ve achieved. It was in order to give recognition to our farmers, restaurants and producers that last year 32 40 21 I inaugurated the Island Life Food and Drink Awards, and we have just celebrated the awards for the second time. Congratulations who was to everyone nominated, and who won – and thank you, the readers, for taking the trouble to champion your favourite. It’s a packed issue but it seems fitting to pick out the story of 58 32 a remarkable young lady who fought a battle for her own health and is now working to help others. I’d like to wish her and all our readers and advertisers a very happy Christmas, and a prosperous new year. Contact - Island Life Magazine: 66 Victoria Avenue, Shanklin, Isle of Wight.
