The man sitting opposite me is not
Marc Bolan. I know that. Marc Bolan,
lead singer of glam rock band T.Rex
died in a horrific car crash before his
30th birthday. Yet his resemblance
to the 70’s icon is uncanny.
Danielz has the long wild curls of Bolan,
and the eyes. But it is the shape of his
face that is so strikingly Bolan: the full
cheeks, that distinctive square jaw.
“I developed this look because I
love Marc,” says Danielz. “I didn’t
look like this when I was 13. I
absorbed it from being surrounded
by his pictures, his music.”
Danielz has just come off stage after
performing with his band T.Rextasy.
