ROYAL ASCOT
There were five days of high
quality horseracing from June
20th as Royal Ascot returned for
2017.
Each day consisted of six flat races,
including eight Group One races. The
coveted Gold Cup race, the main event of
the festival took place on the Thursday.
Over £6million in prize money was up
for grabs, so it was unsurprising that many
of the worlds best racehorses turned up to
participate.
There were plenty of fancy hats,
champagne and cocktails for approx
300,000 visitors enjoying both the races
and the atmosphere throughout the week.
As usual there were both celebrities and
royalty seen in the crowds, adding to the
colour and spectacle of Royal Ascot.
