Charity News Summer fun with the National Trust BHF Newport store seeks local support The BHF retail store located on the high street in Newport, Isle of Wight is on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the running of the store. The BHF rely on volunteers to help support their shops across the UK and help fund even more life saving heart research. In the Newport store, which sells a variety of second-hand furniture and electrical goods, volunteers are urgently needed to help out in a variety of roles, including working in the warehouse as well as with sales, telephone calls and administration. Volunteers at the BHF not only help support a worthy cause but also gain excellent transferrable skills which can help to build your CV if you are looking to broaden your working experience. If you are willing to dedicate your skills and time, even if it is just a couple of hours a week, then be sure to pop in and speak with a member of staff at the store or call on 01983 623190.
