Equestrian Scaling the heights for charity A plucky sponsored abseil down Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower by Wootton resident Sue Waddleton succeeded in raising over £1,200 in much-needed funds for IW Carriage Driving for the Disabled - the charity that provides pony carriage driving sessions at Osborne House for people with disabilities. The charity recently had to purchase a new Fenix Freedom carriage, which can carry wheelchair users as well as those with greater mobility. As well as wheelchair users, the charity is looking for more ambulant people with disabilities to join the sessions. Organisers say they also want more volunteers to assist in various practical ways.
