FAMILY FUN!
Families turned out in droves
when the sun put in a welcome
appearance for what turned out
to be a glorious fourth annual
Bembridge Harbour Family Fun
Weekend in July.
With everything from hula-hooping demos
and workshops to good old-fashioned egg and
spoon and sack racing events, a sand castle
building competition, paper boat race and
crab-catching challenge, the weekend was a
nostalgic reminder of bygone seaside holidays.
For the grown-ups there was the pop-up
horsebox bar, live music and dancing, a sand
sculpture challenge and taster splash sessions
on paddleboards and kayaks. A great weekend
of fun – and all in support of Ryde Inshore
Rescue Independent Lifeboat service.
