Fun at Bembridge!

he recent Bembridge Harbour Family Fun
Weekend was blessed with glorious sunshine, as
people enjoyed the packed weekend of events.
Record numbers of people took part with 199
visiting boats turning up, more than ever before.
Events ranged from a crabbing competition, to free
taster sessions on paddlesboards and kayaks with
Tackt-Isle Adventures, from sandcastle building to
childrens races.
Brading Haven Yacht Club’s fleet of 16 colourfully
decorated Scows sailed up the Harbour in memory
of Eve Watson, with a trophy in Eve’s name being
awarded.
Over £1,000 was raised for Hampshire and Isle of
Wight Air Ambulance.
