Rachel Khoo says: “I’m really excited
to be appearing at the legendary Isle
of Wight Garlic Festival. I’ve heard so

well known as a great food producing
region. I’m really looking forward to a
real foodie weekend!”
Garlic Festival promoter David Holmes
adds: “We’re thrilled to welcome Rachel
to our food theatre line-up, which is
bigger than ever this year.

showcasing the best in local produce.
Colin and Natasha Boswell from

demonstrations on both days, along
with Anna Sacchini, chef/proprietor

There’s also a huge variety of food
and producers on-site for the weekend,
with handmade pickles, sauces, jams,
artisan cheeses, breads, wine and cider
all available. The field kitchens will be
serving-up a wide variety of top quality
hot tasty food.
The Garlic Farm will be offering the
largest selection of garlic varieties in
our giant garlic marquee. You’ll be
amazed at the range of products on
offer too, including fudge, ice cream,
popcorn, biscuits, scones, sweetcorn and
mushrooms, all infused with the unique
flavor of Isle of Wight garlic. Quench
your thirst in the big beer tent and enjoy
fabulous locally brewed ales and ciders.
Check out the tea tent too for cream
teas, pastries and tasty snacks.
This year’s Garlic Festival will be our
most foodie focused event yet. It’s the
Island’s biggest summer show and really
does have something for everyone.

What are you planning to cook while you’re
here?
I’m at home at the moment working hard
in the kitchen developing some new dishes
using Isle of Wight garlic. I want to try and
bring a bit of the Isle of Wight and what it
can offer into my dishes to showcase local
produce, and the great things that can be
done with it.
Have you visited the Island before?
I’ve travelled across the country in the past
