Add some sparkle
with Virginie T

e all like to put a bit of sparkle
into our lives now and again,
and what better way than
with a bottle of the highly-acclaimed
Virginie T champagne?
Until recently Virginie T, the brainchild
of Virginie Taittinger, daughter of
Claude Taittinger, was only available to
order online, but was not available to
Islanders because of the shipping and
delivery costs.
However, it can now be purchased and
delivered to your door for a nominal fee
through Island distributor Jenny Hoey,
who is based in Ryde.
Virginie, who used to spend her
summer holidays with a family in
Bembridge to improve her English and
sailing, said: “My mission is to choose
the best, and to offer the benefits of
my choices to you. For my Virginie T
champagne I carry out my blending at a
wine merchant, who owns a ‘grand cru’
vineyard in the hills around Reims.”
The champagne is composed of grapes
from classified wine-growing regions
such as Verzy, Verzenay and Avize, and
now it is readily available on the Island
at a great price.

Jenny Hoey is the Island ambassador
for the champagne, and is currently
selling to the wholesale trade, and can
be purchased through Island Wines

The full price for a bottle of Virginie
T champagne is £35, but with the full
