Fish tasting Friday
Go fish at the Seaview Hotel
If you are in search of crispy batter,
succulent fish and the perfect
mushy peas, then it’s about time
you tried the Seaview Hotel’s
fish and chips. “There’s nothing
as British as fish and chips, so I
wanted to make sure that we serve
fish and chips to be proud of. I use
island ale in the batter and all our
chips are homemade and the fish is
responsibly sourced,” said head chef
Bruce Theobald.

the Ocean Deck
Summer is here, and the popular Ocean Deck
Seafood Sharing Platter offers fresh local whole
Ventnor Bay lobster and crab, courtesy of Ventnor
Haven Fishery, Greenland prawns, locally smoked
Scottish salmon and honey bread crumbed
Calamari.
The platter, available at the Ocean Deck on
Sandown Esplanade, is served with homemade
tartare sauce, seasonal salad, buttered new
potatoes & crusty bread.
The Island Wine Company recommends a bottle
of our Sauvignon Blanc 2013 – Reserva Nostros
Valle de Casablanca, which complements the
sharing platter beautifully. The Seafood Sharing
Platter is £45 for two, and enquire at the bar on
how to receive a 25 per cent discount on a bottle
of the Sauvignon Blanc. Telephone: 403960.
