Competitors from as far away as
Denmark, Scotland, Yorkshire and
Wales will be taking part in the IW
Farriery event, which is being staged
at Brickfields on August 30 and 31.
The competition, organised by
leading Island farrier Simon Legge,
has attracted a full entry of 32 for the
Open and Apprentice events, and
they will be showing off their skills
of shoeing and shoe making to the
background sound of heavy rock
music.
Simon explained: “We played quite
a bit of music last year during the
