The event was organised by
reporter Jamie White and his
girlfriend Hannah, in memory
of Jamie’s mother Trish - the
late wife of Island Life editor
Peter White - who passed away
last November. A variety of
games and a barbecue helped
swell the funds, and Jamie
said: “I would like to thank
everyone who helped make
it such a successful night, for
such a worthy cause.”
