they do an excellent
job.”
Later this year Charlie will be travelling to France and
Spain to work in restaurants, and also having a spell in the
restaurant of renowned chef Anton Edelmann, the Savoy
hotel's maître chef des cuisines for 21 years, between 1982
and 2003.
Charlie said:
“I never pinch
anyone else’s
ideas, but they
will be very much
fact-finding
visits, because I
do like to ensure
the menu is
ever-changing for
our customers.”
Of course one
of the added
pleasures to
dining at the
Garlic Farm
Cafe is that you
are constantly
reminded of
the spectacular
wildlife, with red
squirrels chasing
around. Peacocks also strut their stuff – but I am assured
neither will be appearing on the menu at anytime in the
future.
