The Island’s High Sheriff Gay Edwards
staged her annual 'at home’ with a
barbecue and marquee in the garden of
her Newport home on Friday June 19.
Prominent guests at the event included
members of the Isle of Wight Council
such as council leader David Pugh, a
number of former High Sheriffs and the
Isle of Wight's Lord Lieutenant Maj Gen
Martin White and former Lord Lieutenant
of the Isle of Wight Christopher Bland.
Around 150 guests enjoyed the
sunshine, roasted pork and seafood at
this regular feature on the Island’s social
calendar.
