OUT AND ABOUT
Anything Goes
with a Bang at
Ryde School
A joyful evening of high comedy
and spectacle was enjoyed
when Ryde School presented
its annual musical production
to full houses at Ryde Theatre.

Indeed, professional is the
word that characterises the
school’s work. Although many
of the chorus and some of
the principals are very young,
within minutes, you sense that
the audience has relaxed,
confident that it doesn’t need
to hold its breath nervously
for the ‘school production’
but that it’s in the presence of

Professional singer
Jacqueline Morris says: “it was

some professional shows."
Ryde School productions
deserve to be written into
your diary well in advance.
With one Cole Porter
classic after another, Collette
Stirzaker as Reno Sweeney
was as sure footed as any
West End professional, her
beautiful voice captivating
audiences from her first note.
