High Sheriff's
Reception
The Events Centre at Cowes Yacht Haven
proved the ideal all-weather venue for
the reception held by the Isle of Wight
High Sheriff, Lieutenant Colonel David
Langford and his wife Sue, on a fine
summer’s evening on the 29th June. The
300 guests, reflecting the High Sheriff’s
many interests, came from all corners of
the Island as well as from the mainland
and were announced by the Island Town
Crier, Shirley Ballard, while the Unity
Stompers provided music for the occasion.
