One of the best rides I have
ever had, now that’s not a
bad opening statement!

The C6 executive saloon really is in
a class of its own. It is unique, well
formed and luxurious and perhaps
so it should be at £41,000. The
range starts with a petrol 3.0i V6
at £29,545 on the road, but I was
playing lord of the manor with the
diesel including just about every
option available. The profile is like
no other although for me there are
a few subtle hints and genetic code
left over from the early DS Citroens.

within a design and technology
Citroen display at the Beaulie
National Motor Museum it is easy to
appreciate its well deserved status.
The leather bound crafted interior
is reflective of a contemporary
gentleman’s club and contrast
boldly with bright polished chrome
adornments. The ride is sleek and
carries a feeling of status, but only
from within, as the regal touch is
incognito from the outside. To be
driven whilst sitting in the back
would be appropriate; however you
would not want to miss the driving
experience. Comfort, luxury and
technology make driving a pleasure;
a trip to Monte Carlo would be like
popping down the shops for a pint
