China China itself is mind blowing. You instantly get the feeling that the owners have spent the best part of a million pounds on the refurb (although I was assured that this was not the case by partner Mark Fan). Mark and his brother (partner) have had many years experience in the business having previously owned three Chinese take -away’s on the Island, Mark commented “there is a big difference between Chinese take-away food, and our restaurant food, people who visit our restaurant will discover this”. Average price per head is £25, and it’s open 7 days a week from lunchtime through till last orders at 11pm Tel: 01983 200800. The Parade, Cowes. Mix the cream and crab meat together over a gentle heat. Add half the grated cheese together with all the other ingredients and cook until hot. Pour into ramekin dishes and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Brown under grill or in a hot oven. 66 Lugleys have now opened in Cowes, the new restaurant has been fitted out to an extremely high standard, you can see that no money has been spared on the project. It has a great seafront location, with some seating outside. The menu is varied, serving breakfast, lunches and à la carte evening meals. We have been informed by the owner that the menu is similar to Lugley’s of Newport.
